CPRT TOURNAMENT SEEDING POLICY

Based upon CPRT player agreements and tour event agreements; CPRT contracted professional players will be seeded ahead of all other entrants who will therefore be qualifying into the draw based upon any CPRT ranking points they have earned and/or at the sole discretion of the CPRT Commissioner. Any ties in ranking points will be decided by a flip of a coin by the CPRT Commissioner. Players with no CPRT ranking points will be placed in the qualifying draw as determined by the CPRT Commissioner in conjunction with the local tournament director.

CPRT Eligibility Requirements

All players playing or who wish to compete as a Qualifier in a CPRT event, must be 40+ years of age as of the event date and must be ranked outside the top 16 on the IRT as of Sept. 1 at the beginning of the current season.

FULL RANKING EVENTS

Champion:              1,000 points         1,250 points for CPRT Championship

Finalist:                    750 points          1,000 points for CPRT Championship

Semi-finalists            500 points             750 points for CPRT Championship

Quarterfinalists         250 points             500 points for CPRT Championship

Round of 16              125 points             250 points for CPRT Championship

An additional 5 points is given for each game won. The total points earned for the season are divided by the number of events played to determine the rankings.
