An additional 5 points is given for each game won.
Ranking points are kept on a rolling one-year basis such that events are included in the rankings for one-year following the event. Beginning with the 2009-10 season, doubles events will receive full ranking points with both partners receiving equal points (i.e., partners on Champion team each receive 1,000 points)
TOUR RULES
CPRT Events are open to players over the age of 40 who were not ranked in the top 8 of International Racquetball Tour as of September 1st of the current season.
All matches are best 3 out of 5 games to 9.
Game 5, if necessary, will go to CPRT Extended Play and the match will continue until a player wins by 2 points. Each player receives 1 additional time out in CPRT Extended Play.
CPRT Bonus Ball: Players are allowed 1 serve with the exception of using a second serve only one time per game at their discretion. Players will notify the referee when choosing to use the CPRT Bonus Ball immediately after their fault serve.
All matches are played with no line judges or court hinders.
All matches are played with the CPRT Official Ball, Ektelon Classic.
In the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals matches, all players will be required to wear Official CPRT shirts, without exception. Official CPRT shirts will be made available at each event and provided to those players reaching the quarter-finals who are not contracted to the CPRT.
The official shirt of the CPRT must be worn by the players participating in any awards presentations and any organized publicity photographs taken by or for the CPRT.
In the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals matches, all players will be limited to only represent an official partner of the CPRT with their racquet stencil or other related logos. If a player reaching the quarter-finals does not play with an E-Force, Ektelon, or Head racquet, the player may not show a logo on their string bed; the string bed may be blank or the logo may be blacked out, subject to the sole discretion and approval of the CPRT. |
